Linewatch Storyline

Michael Dixon is a seasoned agent working linewatch on the US/Mexico Border. Well respected by his peers at US Border Patrol, and well loved by his family (wife Angela and 5 year old daughter Emily), Michael's world is suddenly threatened by secrets from his past. Michael was not always the respectable family man he now has become - he was a vicious Los Angeles gang member who turned his back on the gang and his own brutal ways. But no one can quit the gang, so when a chance encounter leads the gang to Michael in New Mexico, Michael is forced to find a way to protect his family, even if it means helping the psychotic gang leader Drake smuggle a truckload of drugs across the border.

Linewatch goofs

CONT: On the cover, it shows him as driving a 2009 Ford F-250. During the movie, he drives a Pre-2008 Ford Expedition.
CONT: When Cuba Gooding Jr goes to Simon's church/puppet show, his sergeant rank is now corporal, but immediately changes back to sergeant in the next shot.
CONT: On the cover, his lapel pins identify him as a Sergeant. On the DVD (the printed image), if you look closely, his brass identifies him as a Corporal.
CONT: The movie starts with Cuba Gooding Jr heading off into the desert, with climbing rope, to track a bad guy. The desert is completely flat. In the next shot, he is upon hills and cliffs. Meaning he would've had to travel further than eyesight in the open, clear desert. Possibly 20 miles.
FACT: Michael's hand-held radio gets perfect reception, even when he tells his supervisor that he's 200 miles away. No 2-way hand-held can clearly send or receive from even a tenth of that distance.
